FlappyBirdGodot
This is just a FlappyBird clone I made in Godot 4.1.1 from zero.
Other than the controls shown in the screen, clicking and tapping the screen work (reset is also the same click/tap but only works at game over).
You can find the devlogs in my website:
And you can check the source code in my GitHub: luevano/flappybirdgodot

- Sprites by MegaCrash: flappy-bird-assets; just modified the names to be all lowercase because I like it that way.
- Font by PoppyWorks: Silver.
- Sound by meeq: FlappyBird-N64, which at the same looks like it's taken from 101soundboards.com, which either way at the end of the day the respective credit goes to .Gears, the original owners of the SFX and game idea.

The game is quite fun to play. The movement mechanics could be more polished and the collider currently seems like it's not matching the obstacle so the player dies even before touching the obstacle. In addition to that, we would suggest making the level a bit easier at the start and then gradually increasing the difficulty. Also, it would be greater to see more innovative mechanics added to this base game.
Thanks a lot for your feedback. I’ll consider all of your feedback for further update. This is literally my first game so I understand it’s a bit rough on the edges. Will definitely upgrade it soon (first I’m going to do an entry to the current godot jam, so I will take a bit).
That sounds great! All the best for your future uploads! Also, if you anytime need help you can check our store for helpful gamedev resources.
